My qualifications include a DipHE (Level 5) in Humanistic Counselling (March 2024 – December 2025), alongside a Level 3 and Level 2 in Counselling awarded by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (September 2022 - September 2023 and October 2021 - June 2022 respectively).
Through this structured and progressive training, I have developed a strong professional identity as a therapist, grounded in humanistic values and a commitment to ethical, client-centred practice.
My studies have enabled me to refine core therapeutic skills, including building and sustaining meaningful therapeutic relationships, working with empathy and congruence, and creating a safe, non-judgemental space in which clients feel heard and understood. I have also deepened my ability to engage in critical self-reflection, recognise the impact of my own values and experiences within the therapeutic process, and work with increased awareness, sensitivity, and professionalism.
This training has equipped me with the knowledge, insight, and practical competence to support clients effectively, while maintaining clear boundaries and adhering to ethical frameworks. I am a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and have a full DBS check.
